I was a full-time teacher for 2 years. Overall, I spent 7 years working with children. During that time, I developed my own philosophies as it relates to education and early childhood development. I still aim to continue observing education even after leaving the field. I know there are a lot of teachers, or generally just people in and around schools, who are dissatisfied with the shallow conversations being had within their institutions. The goal of my writing is to remind them that there is nothing wrong with curiosity. We should always be curious as to what could possibly improve schools, even if it may lead us to inconvenient truths.
